Thy Kingdom Come Prayer Stations

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

We have prayer stations at St Mary’s which are open from 22 May – 3 June (excluding Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday)

Opening times are;

9.30am – 3.00pm

3.00pm – 5.00pm – 24 & 25 May only

7.00pm – 9.30pm  – 23, 24, 30 & 31 May only

Thy Kingdom Come will finish with a Beacon event at Guildford Cathedral on Sunday 4th June.

‘Come and gather on the day of Pentecost for a huge Beacon event at Guildford Cathedral for people of all ages and stages of life and faith. There are two events; you can come to either, or both, of these. The service in the Cathedral is especially for young people – from secondary school age to college and uni students. Tickets to BOTH events are free of charge.’

More information about the events and how you can book tickets can be found here.
