The next Alpha course will commence in January 2024 and is open to everyone!

 

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a course that explores the Christian faith over 12 weeks.  It starts with asking the question “Who is Jesus?” and looks at his death and resurrection, it explores the Holy Spirit as well as looking at things like prayer, the bible and the church.

 

What happens in each session?

Both the online course (via Zoom) and the in-person combine watching a video that lasts between 20 and 30 minutes and having a discussion allowing everyone to express their opinions.  The in-person course also starts off with having a meal together.

 

Do I have to be a Christian to do Alpha?

Absolutely not!  Although Alpha is great for Christians to “go back to basics”, Alpha is designed for people of all faiths and none to explore what Christians believe.  Of course, we hope by the end of the course you will also believe it too, as we think it is the best and most wonderful news.
