Sisterhood Sanctuary (SHS) is a safe space for women to be valued for ‘who they are’. The space embodies a culture of honouring the inherent worth in every woman; affirming the value of each woman’s voice, wellbeing, and story. Through providing a safe space for women to come together – as they are, build friendships, share a healthy meal, be creative and enjoy being pampered by and alongside other women in their community.

The Hub is a partnership of organisations offering women’s community wellbeing sessions across multiple locations including here at St John’s Church.

THURSDAYS | 9.30 am – 12.30 pm | The Community Cafe offers free tea, coffee, cakes and other goodies, plenty of good company, an area where the younger kids can play plus free WiFi and a book corner.

The Foodbank runs alongside making it an ideal place for people to pop in while passing

THURSDAYS | 1.30 – 2.30 pm | A one hour art hub for all ages. Come and get creative, all materials provided with activities based on the theme of the week or why not bring your own and enjoy the company.
