Alex reminded us this morning that we can all know God’s presence and power through his Holy Spirit. It’s the Spirit who draws us to faith in Jesus and it’s the Spirit who turns our hearts towards him. This gift is open to all who will receive him. He will help you to know the presence and love of God. And all you need to do is ask.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His comfort and love, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
