National Day of Reflection – 23.03.2021 – Short Act of Prayer

Tuesday 23rd March marks a year since the UK first went into lockdown. It has been designated a National Day of Reflection. It is a healthy thing to remember and lament together what we have lost and endured and overcome in the last year. Organised by Marie Curie and supported by the Church of England, the National Day of Reflection looks to reflect on our collective loss, support those who’ve been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future.

Will you join us in stopping to pray at 12 noon on Tuesday? St Mary’s will be open for private prayer and reflection on Tuesday between 9.30 am – 6.00 pm.

We will also have available a short service of prayer on this National Day of Reflection, the service will be available to view here or go direct to YouTube  on Tuesday. You can also access prayers and other resources via the Church of England website that will help you to mark this day in whatever way you choose.
