11 Jan Open the Book – Volunteers Needed

Open the Book is an exciting Bible Society storytelling project where a team of trained and safely recruited volunteers from local churches prepare and present a 10 to 15 minute scripted Bible story to children in a school assembly, in a way that’s fun, interactive and memorable.

We need volunteers who have a few hours free during the day once or twice a month, plus other helpers to make very simple scenery and costumes, trawl charity shops for props etc.

Most important of all, we need people to support us in praying for this project.

As soon as we have enough volunteers we’ll be able to set up an introductory training session for our team of storytellers.
